Google Inc. is offering to run the search engines of small Web sites for as little as $100 per year, marking the company’s latest attempt to make more money off technology that already steers much of the Internet’s traffic. click for more

NEW YORK—-A poll of 295 Web searchers who are readers of top-technology Web blogs reveals that 62 percent do not trust their search engine with their information. In addition, users disclosed the most important issues search engines can address to win users’ trust. click for more
